Web Developer
The Web Developer is responsible for the planning, development, and maintenance of web projects and applications designed to meet the project goals and objectives of our clients. The development platform is largely Microsoft-based, built on the ASP, .NET, and SQL Server frameworks. The Web Developer will assist with defining project requirements and work with clients to ensure objectives are accomplished on time and within budget. The Web Developer will work closely with Project Managers and Web Designers to collaborate on the overall site development process. The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:
- Expert knowledge of ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, and HTML
- Working knowledge of .NET, SQL Server, CSS, Web Development Security, and basic page layout and page design techniques.
- Experience in e-Commerce web application development
- Basic understanding of IIS, ADO, and XML
- Detail-oriented, excellent time management abilities, and effective under pressure
- BS in related field of study or equivalent experience.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Site/Application Development - defining project requirements, implementation, documentation, QA
- Site/Application Maintenance - attentiveness to mission-critical issues, routine updates, enhancements and maintenance, testing and troubleshooting.
- Best-Practices Coding and Application Development - W3 standards, PCI Security Compliance.
