Web Designer

The Web Designer is responsible for graphical user interfaces and web page designs that effectively communicate the client's identity and brand for optimal display on the web. The Web Designer must be able to present design concepts to clients and provide leadership in maintaining quality and consistency throughout all phases of product development. The Web Designer will work closely with Project Managers and Web Developers to collaborate on the overall site develop process.

The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:
  • A creative thinker with expert knowledge of page layout techniques and page design best-practices.
  • Expert knowledge of Style Sheets and a solid understanding of basic HTML and e-Commerce web development.
  • Expert knowledge of graphics software (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and a working knowledge of Adobe Flash.
  • 2+ years of web design experience.
  • BA in design or equivalent experience.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Strategy development for graphic design issues.
  • Development and maintenance of site GUIs, Style Sheets, Page Layouts, etc.
  • Routine reviews, updates, and enhancements of existing sites.
  • QA, testing, and troubleshooting of existing pages/designs.
  • Competitive research and analysis of design-related trends in the industry and marketplace.
Location: Main Office - Brentwood, MO
Start Date: Immediately
Status: Exempt - Full Time
